From quiet hidden coves to activity-packed waterfronts, there’s a whole range of big and small beaches within easy driving distance of Villa Milos.

Further east along the coast near Lasithi tends to be quieter, as does the relatively isolated area around Xerokampos in the south east.

Although busy in high season, Vai beach at the eastern tip is home to Europe’s only indigenous palm forest and has a real Caribbean feel.
